MODELO AE-7 · CONSTELACIONES FAMILIARES · CONSTELACIONES PERSONALES

Encontrarme frente a 28 participantes era algo completamente nuevo.

BEBÉ · NIÑO/A · ADOLESCENTE · JOVEN · ADULTO/A

MODELO AE-7

ÁRBOL DE LAS SIETE PRISIONES ESENCIALES

1 · ADECUACIÓN — ¿Hay algo malo en mí?

2 · PERTENENCIA — ¿Tengo un lugar?

3 · SIGNIFICANCIA — ¿Soy suficiente? ¿Tengo valor?

4 · SEGURIDAD — ¿Estoy a salvo?

5 · POTENCIA — ¿Puedo? ¿Soy capaz?

More than four decades exploring the relationship between our personal history, our emotions, and the way we experience life.

Since 2003, I have facilitated more than 3,333 Family and Personal Constellations.

Since 2015, I have developed and taught Personal Constellations training programs in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and Tenerife.

Today, all that experience comes together in a new offering:

EMOTIONAL ARCHITECT TRAINING · 2027

ONE EXPERIENCE · THREE PERSPECTIVES

AE-7 MODEL · FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS · PERSONAL CONSTELLATIONS

This is the first training program in which I bring these three methodologies together into a single learning journey.

MY JOURNEY INTO EMOTIONAL EXPLORATION

I was born in Asturias on May 6, 1957.

I spent my childhood and youth there until 1978, when, at the age of 21, I decided to leave my Economics studies at the University of Oviedo and travel to the United States.

I first lived in Orlando, Florida, and later in California.

It was there that I discovered Arthur Janov’s Primal Therapy and had my first experiences of deep emotional exploration.

Those experiences marked an important turning point in how I understood human beings.

I became interested in the relationship between what we experience, what we feel, what we learn to believe about ourselves, and the strategies we develop to navigate life.

During my seven years in the United States, I studied Psychology and Education at several institutions, including Napa Valley College and California State University, Northridge.

I also explored different humanistic and experiential approaches that were beginning to spread during the 1980s.

In 1985, I returned to Spain.

For a time, I combined business ventures with my work as a Primal therapist, gradually devoting myself more fully to emotional exploration and individual support.

FROM PRIMAL THERAPY TO FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS

During the 1990s, my work focused primarily on Primal Therapy.

That experience led me to pay particular attention to the relationship between the body, emotions, and our emotional biography.

In July 2002, I discovered Bert Hellinger’s Family Constellations.

I participated in numerous workshops with Vedanta Suravi, as well as other gatherings with Peter Bourquin and Bert Hellinger himself.

One year later, in July 2003, I began facilitating my own workshops from a Primal perspective.

MY FIRST WORKSHOP

I especially remember my first workshop, held at the Karuna Center in Altea, Alicante, which, to my surprise, attracted 28 participants.

Until then, my experience with Primal Therapy had been primarily individual. The groups I worked with never exceeded three people.

Finding myself in front of 28 participants was something entirely new.

I wasn’t quite sure how to handle such a large group.

That day, I facilitated three constellations, and no one heard me mention that it was my first time leading a Family Constellations workshop.

At the end, I spoke with the center’s director, a German businessman who had personally witnessed Bert Hellinger’s work.

When I confessed that it had been my first workshop as a facilitator, he was genuinely surprised.

For me, it was an unforgettable experience.

I arrived with the uncertainty of someone facing something new and left with the feeling that I had found a path that would eventually become a fundamental part of my life.

From then on, Family Constellations from a Primal perspective became an essential part of my work.

I gradually incorporated my Primal experience into my approach to facilitation, paying attention both to the family relationships represented and to each person’s emotions, needs, and inner experiences.

MORE THAN 3,333 CONSTELLATIONS

Between 2003 and 2026, I have facilitated more than 3,333 Family and Personal Constellations.

You may find it curious that I chose this particular number instead of rounding it off.

The reason has to do with something that began catching my attention about a year ago: the recurring appearance of numbers such as 111, 222, and 333 at different moments in my life.

Since then, I have observed these coincidences with a special sense of curiosity.

I remember one particularly surprising experience. A few months ago, when I turned on my personal computer, the screen remained frozen for thirteen seconds, displaying exactly 11:11:11.

I do not intend to attribute any universal meaning to these coincidences or offer an explanation for them.

They are simply part of those small experiences that awaken my curiosity.

That is why I have chosen to keep the figure 3,333.

It is a personal way of acknowledging more than two decades of facilitating constellations and reminding myself that there are still many things that surprise me—and that I do not need to explain in order to appreciate them.

LEARNING TO SEE FROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES

Around 2010, after seven years of facilitating workshops, I began to experience a change in the way I observed constellations.

What I initially perceived as a relatively simple configuration began to reveal different levels, relationships, and possibilities of interpretation.

In the language of Family Constellations, this experience is often associated with what is called the Knowing Field.

In my subjective experience, it was like learning a new language.

I describe this evolution as a multidimensional perspective: the ability to observe the same situation from different angles and viewpoints, without necessarily reducing it to a single interpretation.

During a constellation, what I experience as the intelligence of the Field guides my attention.

Sometimes it invites me to explore a particular aspect more deeply.

At other times, it invites me to maintain a broader perspective.

It is as though a magnifying glass enlarges a situation, allowing me to observe its nuances, and then my perspective moves back to take in the whole picture.

Over the years, I have learned to move between these two ways of observing.

And, above all, to recognize that it is not always necessary to immediately interpret what appears.

This is my personal way of describing an experience of facilitation, not a claim that there is an objectively demonstrated mechanism behind it.

THE BIRTH OF PERSONAL CONSTELLATIONS

In 2015, I began developing and teaching an approach that I called Personal Constellations.

Unlike Family Constellations, which focus primarily on the individual’s relationship with their family system, Personal Constellations direct attention toward their own biography.

The approach involves representing different stages of life:

BABY · CHILD · ADOLESCENT · YOUNG ADULT · ADULT

These representations allow us to explore how we relate today to earlier experiences and versions of ourselves.

We are not necessarily looking for a wound, trauma, or predetermined explanation.

We observe the relationships that emerge between different life stages, as well as the resources developed throughout life.

FROM EXPERIENCE TO TRAINING

Since 2015, I have developed and taught Personal Constellations training programs in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and Tenerife.

These experiences have allowed me to share the methodology with people interested both in their own personal development and in learning new ways of accompanying others through their processes.

They have also given me the opportunity to observe how different participants understand, experience, and use the same approach.

Over time, I have placed increasing importance on practice, supervision, and the need to distinguish what emerges from what the facilitator interprets.

Training is not simply about transmitting knowledge.

It also involves learning to listen, ask questions, observe, and recognize the limits of our own interpretations.

HOW THE AE-7 MODEL WAS BORN

After decades of working with emotional experiences, personal biographies, and family configurations, one question became increasingly important to me:

WHAT SHAPES THE WAY WE EXPERIENCE LIFE?

I observed that people with very different life stories could find themselves trapped in ways of living that shared certain elements:

The need to please others.

The fear of not belonging.

The feeling of not being enough.

The constant search for security.

The difficulty of trusting one’s own abilities.

The worry of not having the necessary resources.

Or the tendency to seek permission from others to make one’s own decisions.

THE INFLUENCE OF PETER CRONE

One particularly important influence on this journey was Peter Crone, known as the Mind Architect, through his work on mental limitations and unconscious beliefs that can shape our experience of life.

His way of exploring what he calls mental prisons helped me recognize more clearly something I had also observed for years: our difficulties do not depend solely on what we have experienced, but also on the meaning we have constructed from those experiences.

A person may have learned that they need to please others to be accepted, constantly prove their worth to feel good enough, or keep everything under control to feel safe.

Over time, these interpretations can become convictions so familiar that we stop questioning them.

Peter Crone’s work offered me a valuable perspective for understanding how these mental constructions can limit our inner freedom.

FROM MENTAL PRISONS TO EMOTIONAL ARCHITECTURE

Drawing on these influences, my observations, and my experience as a facilitator, I began organizing my own approach:

AE-7 MODEL

THE TREE OF THE SEVEN ESSENTIAL PRISONS

  1. ADEQUACY — Is there something wrong with me?

  2. BELONGING — Do I have a place?

  3. SIGNIFICANCE — Am I enough? Do I have value?

  4. SAFETY — Am I safe?

  5. CAPABILITY — Can I do it? Am I capable?

  6. RESOURCES — Do I have what I need?

  7. INNER AUTHORITY — Can I trust myself and make my own decisions?

These seven roots are not intended to classify people or explain the full complexity of a life.

They are territories of exploration.

A map that can help us recognize how certain experiences acquire meaning and how those meanings may influence our emotions, needs, strategies, and decisions.

The model does not determine what is happening to a person.

It helps us formulate questions to explore it together.

THE MAP GUIDES. THE PERSON REVEALS THE MEANING.

EXPLORE THE AE-7 MODEL →

WHY INTEGRATE THREE PERSPECTIVES?

No single methodology can encompass every dimension of human experience.

The AE-7 Model allows us to explore the emotional architecture that may be shaping the way we live.

Family Constellations broaden the perspective toward relationships and dynamics within the family system.

Personal Constellations allow us to observe different stages of our biography and our relationship with them.

The three perspectives can complement one another without needing to confirm the same explanation.

EMOTIONAL ARCHITECT TRAINING · 2027

This is the first training program in which I bring the three methodologies together into a single journey.

It is not my first experience teaching training programs.

It is a new stage in which I integrate methodologies I have developed, studied, and practiced throughout my career.

The training consists of 160 in-person hours, distributed across ten sessions in Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, and Tenerife.

It includes theoretical learning, demonstrations, personal experience, practice, case analysis, and supervision.

MY APPROACH TO FACILITATION

After so many years of work, there is something I consider increasingly important:

DO NOT CONFUSE OUR INTERPRETATION WITH THE PERSON’S EXPERIENCE.

A facilitator may have knowledge, experience, intuitions, and tools.

But they can also be wrong.

They may formulate a hypothesis that does not fit, interpret too quickly, or believe they understand something that still needs to be explored.

That is why my approach to facilitation is based on several principles.

LISTEN BEFORE INTERPRETING

Allow the person to express their experience without rushing to explain it.

OBSERVE BEFORE INTERVENING

Distinguish what is happening from what we assume it means.

ASK WITHOUT LEADING

Open possibilities for exploration without steering toward a predetermined answer.

CORRECT COURSE WHEN NECESSARY

Let go of our hypotheses when the experience does not support them.

RESPECT THE PACE

Recognize that not every process needs to reach the same destination or move at the same speed.

RECOGNIZE THE LIMITS

Understand that no methodology works for everything and that some situations require other professionals or forms of support.

FACILITATION IS NOT ABOUT HAVING THE ANSWERS. IT IS ABOUT LEARNING TO EXPLORE WITHOUT IMPOSING THEM.

ASOCIACIÓN PRIMAL

In 1997, I founded Asociación Primal, connected to my journey of emotional exploration, personal development, and experiential work.

Over the years, this initiative has supported various projects, workshops, and training programs.

Today, Asociación Primal is also the organization that issues the accreditation for the Emotional Architect Training.

The accreditation is issued by the association itself and recognizes completion of the training journey. It is not an official academic qualification or a regulated professional license.

LEARN ABOUT THE ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS →

A PERSONAL INVITATION

When I look back, I see a journey that began with a personal curiosity and gradually evolved through experiences, encounters, learning, and thousands of shared processes.

Primal Therapy opened my eyes to emotional experience.

Family Constellations broadened my attention toward systems of relationships.

Personal Constellations led me to explore the different ages of our biography.

And the AE-7 Model has allowed me to organize many of those observations into a map for emotional exploration.

After years of teaching workshops and training programs, this first integrated edition represents a new opportunity for me to share that entire journey.

I do not intend to train people who simply repeat my interpretations.

I want each participant to develop their own capacity for observation, listening, and exploration.

To use the tools without becoming limited by them.

To learn when to intervene, when to wait, and when to acknowledge that they do not yet know.

You do not need to think like me or interpret experiences the way I do.

My invitation is to explore, experiment, observe, and discover what meaning emerges for you.

Because, after all these years, I still believe that what matters most is not what we know about another person.

IT IS WHAT WE CAN DISCOVER WHEN WE LEARN TO LISTEN TO THEM.
